Select a video model and duration to see the current member quote.
- Use the shortest available clip for the first consistency test. Video credits are charged by the second, so shorter clips usually cost less.
- Use 8 to 12 seconds for one clear action or musical phrase. Try 30 seconds only after the character, car, environment, and motion already work.
- For a longer movie, plan separate story beats and reuse the same reference pack. This makes revisions cheaper than repeatedly regenerating a full-length clip.
Movie scene prompt
Subject + action + setting + camera move + lighting + ending beat. Example: “A cinematic 16:9 scene: the same character enters the rainy station, the camera tracks backward in one continuous move, blue practical lights reflect on the floor, and the shot ends as the character reaches the train door.”
Music video prompt
Performance + movement + camera rhythm + lighting + visual motif. Example: “A polished music-video performance on a dark stage, the performer moves through one confident dance phrase, the camera circles smoothly on the beat, red and cyan lights sweep across the set, and the shot ends on a strong still pose.”
Keep clips consistent
Reuse the same primary character image, character angles, car, environment, and storyboard files. Keep wardrobe, time of day, lens language, and location wording the same. The generator labels those references for Seedance 2.5 automatically.
